Ok, looking back I should have said Top 5. My bad!

Messi has had a tremendous career at club level so far. Yeah, he's only 24 and he has achieved a LOT. If he helps Argentina win the 2014 WC then we could start including Messi in the GOAT discussions. For now, he's an amazing soccer player playing in a great Barca team surrounded by uber-talented stars.
I'm not going to argue about Pele over Maradona. I agree to an extent about Pele having a better overall resume. But, oh my, watching Maradona at his peak was a sight fit for sporting gods.

I guess GOAT is a matter of individual's taste (Similar to Federer vs Borg). To me, there is no wrong answer.

A few soccer players come to mind

Paul Gascoine
Maradona
Ronaldo (fat)
Michael Owen
George Best

Did you really mean to include Maradona here? I don't think I've ever seen anyone dominate a tournament (any sport) like Maradona did in the 86 World Cup. That was easily some of the best soccer (yeah, I know hand-of-god, blah, blah) any player has played.
With due apologies to Pele, Maradona was soccer's GOAT. Unlike Maradona, Pele had a dazzling supporting cast throughout his playing career.
Btw, Messi has MILES to go before he can crack even the top 10, let alone top 5. He can start with helping Argentina win the 2014 WC in Brazil.
Like I said before, SI.com's Stewart mandel tweeted this:

Petrino hired Dorrell March 28. That was last week. How "previous" was that relationship, really Bobby?

The lying would have just ended with the admin leave/slap on the wrist. But this hiring would mean the end of Bobby Petrino at UArk.

Petrino is so gone!!

Who should I trust more Lunardi or Palm??? LOL

Joey Brackets does have a Ph. D in Bracketology, what does Palm have?

Joe Lunardi has the cushiest sports job in the country. While I agree he is the pioneer of bracketology, he definitely is not the best. Just because ESPN shoves down his selections down our throats night in and night out during the season, it doesn't mean he's right all the time.

All that matters is whom the committee decides to take and which team it decides to leave out. Compare that with the so-called the 'PhD in Bracketology', you'll see how misleading he has been over the season.

90% of hardcore college basketball fans can easily pick 64-65 out of 68 teams. It's basically choosing the down the last 6 or 7 teams from about a group of 9-10 teams

See the below link you'll know what I'm talking about. Click on the individual years, you'll see he's missed about 9 teams in the past 6 years - 1.5/yr, that is not so good. When you are down to choosing only 6 or 7 teams to fill the bracket as at-large teams and you miss 1.5 each year (that's about 20%-25%!!), that's pathetic.

has failed massively two years in a row. Last year they lobbied the NCAA to play the ineligible 'Tattoo Five' against Arkansas. This year they frick it up again by taking an undeserving VaTech over KSU.

I'm not talking about the average person, but the ones who feel the need to preach against something yet go out and do that very thing. Drinking, sec before marriage, drugs, etc.

Nothing wrong with that :dunno: You SEC newbies (Mizzou and Aggies) will learn that soon.

re: Four BCS Championships for Horns?

The Horns' official football page is MackBrown-TexasFootball.com??!! WTF!

You guys claim a conference title when y'all didn't even play in the championship game? Wow. 08 Horns = 03 Rebels
They are...there's no denying that. I've been keeping an eye on them in the Euro 2012 qualifiers. They are currently 3rd behind France and Belarus (9 Group Winners + Best Runner-up advance. 8 other runner-ups battle in a playoff for the final 4 spots). Bosnia still has some work to do. Hopefully, Dzeko takes them to Ukraine/Poland.

Well, Dzeko had a chance to help Bosnia qualify for the 2010 WC but he had 2 bad games vs Portugal during the elimination playoffs. I was watching the games online hoping Bosnia would put Portugal and Ronaldo out of the WC only to be disappointed.
Mark this down...Dzeko will help Bosnia qualify for the 2014 WC.

Teams in Bosnia's group:
Greece
Slovakia
Lithuania
Latvia
Liechtenstein
Peter Crouch is the worst MFin forward to ever don a soccer jersey for a high-profile (ok...semi high-profile in this case) team. Being tall is his only skill.

Yeah, I know it's not exactly news!

I've seen it. Like you said, it's a badass action movie. Enjoyed watching it immensely.

Been a fan of Korean movies for a few years now. Most of their movies are of high quality.

TVersity. Google it. It's very simple to make your laptop-PS3 combo a media server/center.

Mississippi State... Grindin'... Hail State!!
Oh, you gotta watch the South Park episode of "Whale Whores"...It's probably close to an accurate depiction of "Whale wars" and their fat-arse captain.

(One of my favorite South Park episodes along with "All about the Mormans")
