I much prefer the college game to the NBA. But then, I grew up watching LSU in the 80's, so I liked the game without a shot clock or 3 pt line.

I thought it might be because I didn't have a local team to root for, but then we got the Hornets with CP3.
That still didn't begine to approach what I feel for LSU in a big bowl or in a March Madness run, or the Saints in the playoffs.

I’m certain the Bama fans here know exactly what you mean.

I've loved watching it for the last 20 years whether my team is worth a flip or not.

This. It's nice to see some defense every once in a while and well-executed plays vs. just street ball.

Wait what? Have you watched a NBA game since 1997?

Who downvoted my nba comment

It’s the only sport I know of that actually has to play music and chants over the sound system DURING the actual play because the crowds are bored and terrible

It’s a crappy league whose figured out that off court drama is more interesting and what drives interest than the actual play.

I'm currently watching a game between two lottery teams in the Hawks and Bulls and the shot making makes the best college game look a JV girls game.

the nba is better in everyway

In what way?

Is it the five step layup that you prefer?

Is it the lack of defense that you prefer?

Is it the prima donna focus that draws you?

One ting about the nba. They do have the best studio show in sports. Maybe the best in history.

I would say college game day and nba in tnt are the nest most entertaining studio shows in history

Totally lost interest probably around 13 years ago. In the occasional watching of the last 5 minutes of some finals games, still looked the same to me.

March Madness is the greatest event in sports. Maryland-Baltimore County beating Virginia last year - you would have thought I was an alum the way I was into that game.

Michigan/Houston was the best game of the tournament last year. That was an amazing shot at the buzzer to win it. A 40 foot bomb was the difference between Michigan losing on the first weekend and Michigan going to the national title game. That's why March Madness is awesome.

Or how about the overall 1 seed losing to the 16? Anything can happen in one game.

I love it. I secretly pretend not to care when we’re not doing well, when deep down it pisses me off. I think a lot of SEC fans are this way. This year has been a helluva ride. There are games I was just as pumped about as football games...been since our run in 2006 that I have felt that way.

Fouls called every 30 seconds that ruins college for me. Nasketball is supposed to be fast paced not played like cricket.
