I love watching college baseball, especially around conference tourney time and the Road to Omaha. I used to be a HS baseball coach in the Birmingham area and I would always nab some free tickets come tourney time.

Absolutely. I love watching baseball in almost all forms. It’s a great game.

baseball is the highest level of amateur athletics in college sports.

the question should be do you like watching amateurs.

football and basketball are semi-pro, not amateur.

Yea but oddly I prefer to listen to it on the radio more than watch. Mostly because I can do other things while it’s on and it’s nice background noise and I can jump into the game during exciting parts

Yes, but I pick watching my teams MLB games over it most any time.

Of course, if we were playing meaningful games and weren't 3-64 in the league that might shift a little bit.

We're kind of spoiled in that we get to listen to the greatest college broadcaster in history.

I love watching baseball. I watch every LSU game on TV and have season tickets to Auburn baseball (I currently live in Alabama). My wife and I attended the SEC baseball tournament the last two years and loved it (except for the finals last year, the Ole Miss fans were awful).

My enjoyment factor declines as the players get older. My favorite is high school, college, then MLB. Anything below high school can be tedious and I don't enjoy it as much.

Ole Miss fans are generally terrible people. What specifically was your experience?

Yes, but you haven't had to worry about that for a decade have you?

Yes. I'm far more likely to watch college baseball than pro because of the fact that there are more unexpected outcomes in college.

Yes,I went years not even to be able to listen to our team on the radio much less watching a game.

I'm really enjoying the internet age now.

As a kid, I only liked watching football and basketball. My father preferred MLB, but I hated it. As an adult, I began enjoying MLB and it became my favorite sport for a while. I absolutely loved it and even followed the minor league teams for my favorite MLB team.

Then MLB redid television contracts and there was a year where I couldn't watch my favorite team, so I gave it up completely. I tried following the college game, but it was like watching little league ball, at first. In the last few years, however, it seems like the college game has greatly improved and now I quite enjoy it (more then basketball).

I do only when it's LSU. That's my serious answer. Otherwise I wouldn't watch baseball on TV if I had a gun to my head.

So you wouldn't watch Arkansas baseball in the college world serious and especially the National Championship series? I don't believe you.

Of course I would. But its not an issue with you at the moment is it? Unless LSU goes to the CWS this year (which they might because you do have some talent) it will be a bit of a drought for you guys.
