All you Bama bashers are not true SEC fans. I, like many of you, was pulling for Florida. Now it's Bama. So be it. They kicked Florida's arse, and had an excellent season. You can't take that from them. This crap about the officials gave it to them is just the, CRAP. The SEC officials were BAD all season...for EVERY team.

I'm with you LoyalTiger. I was all set to pull against Bama as the only SEC squad I wouldn't go for in the bowls. After they beat up FLA and even though that have Tricky Nicky, Mal Moore et al, I will have to go with the SEC for the National Championship. After watching Bo Pelini's D stymie Texas all night, I think that the Tide will beat Texas by a sound margin. All Gumps get ready not to repeat next year. The SEC, nor any other conference in the modern era will produce a consecutive BCS(BS)champion.

It's good to see so many of you guys are pulling for us. I've pulled for every SEC team in every bowl game, but from some of the talk on here lately, I thought the majority of you guys would still be hoping for a Bama loss. Aside from the bleeding anus post by the OP, most of you have echoed my own sentiments the past few years.

To have 4 consecutive NC's won by 3 different SEC teams is a far more important thing than maintaining Bama hatred.

I draw the line here. Bama won the conference, they whipped our arse along with everyone else, they won, they are better than us, or anyone else in the conf this year. I know a call was missed, but also one was missed in the first quarter that went our way. No referee mistake makes up the difference that they are the SEC champ. I hate excuses, see them next year in Tiger Stadium.

I notice you failed to mention the bad "excessive celebration" call from the Georgia game, the "unsportsmanlike" call from the Ole Miss game, and the worst of all--the "out of bounds" on your game-tying drive vs. Arkansas.

It's people like the OP are the reason i hate LSU. I swear i've never seen a fanbase like them. If they win by luck, its all skill. If they lose by lucky, the refs fricked them. Can't stand LSU, so arrogant, so cocky. Yes you won 2 NC congrats, thats a great accomplishment.
