You’re still in bargaining phase GT1 imho. Move on to ankle grabbing acceptance phase.

It's not preferable at all, but they played college football for like 110 years without a national championship game. Obviously the system is better now, but if it was worth playing before 1998 then it is worth playing now.

Serious question but if we see every conference not playing any OOC games, the rankings and legit contenders would be a bit screwed up wouldn’t they?

I said something about that in another thread. All teams would have to play the same amount of games and then the playoff committiee would have to pick between all the conference champs. It would be pretty fricked

There’s obviously a lot of different scenarios. As of today the one I’m leaning towards happening is a vacant national championship title and just conference championship being the end result.
Edit: good year to implement a playoff expansion if they wanted to. 5 conference champs 1 at large. 1 & 2 seed get a bye

So are the Ivy League teams that aren’t playing at all this fall having their players lose eligibility? If not, are they going to be allowed to raise scholarship limits next year?

There are no scholarships in the Ivy League. Financial aid is based on financial need.

I bet playoffs will happen, even with no fans, especially if C19 cases down by December

Do we really want to lose our seniors’ eligibility for a farce of a season?

If it’s gonna be a farce...don’t expect highly rated JRs to play.

So we are going to have like 100+ players on scholarship for a few years after a year of no revenue?

That doesn’t seem very smart
