It's not unique. Alabama's new baseball stadium has done this for couple years. Several major League stadiums have had LED lights for years.
Still, not a major problem, just a minor annoyance. The solution is to not give up any jacks.

I'm cool with doing something with lighting but all they do is turn the lights on and off.

I love them for nothing more than the mental strain it has to have on the pitcher. He looks mighty lonely standing in the spotlight on the mound while it is going on.

Have you even seen how long it takes for stadard stadium lights to come on? And if they get turned off, as in a power outage or flicker, you have to wait like 30 minutes to cut them back on. LEDs are instantaneous.

Was gonna say the same thing. But for real, those shouldn't trigger seizures. The lights at fb and bb games can, tho. Epileptics better make sure they're taking their meds. I know I do. (An ambulance's strobes caused a seizure once when I'd quit taking them like I should...nurses are the worst at being on the patient side of the equation. Never made that mistake again.)
And I like the lights, State.

Probably because 90% of all ballparks (pro and college) still use HID.

That still has nothing to do with what I said; laser lights or fireworks.
Back to my original post, I think a fricking laser light show would be pretty cool or some coordinated fireworks like this.
