There is a lot of value in pointing out the constant stream of hypocrisy that flows from Auburn internet boards. I feel that's my contribution to tigerdroppings.com as a loyal Bama fan. Other fanbases need to see through the self righteous facade and pedestal that Auburn fans construct about themselves and their school. Alabama fans and other SEC fans don't pretend try to pass their school and themselves off as more virtuous and righteous than the rest like Auburn often does. They don't quote creeds and then claim that they are more virtuous as a result. They don't have this cultish belief that their school and everyone associated with it is sanctified and a little more "special" than everyone else. Most of my Auburn friends love their school dearly like any alum but don't buy this idea that their love of Auburn and the school itself are any more unique or special than fans of any other school. I think internet and radio Auburn fans take themselves way more seriously than other SEC fans in this regard.
Finally, it's just fun to stir the pot sometimes. I always reel in well over the limit when I start a thread on the SEC Rant.

I have a bunch of Auburn buddies. My next door neighbors are huge Auburn fans. I love fricking with their kids (under 8.. both of them) by saying Roll Tide! once in a while. They never disappoint. They always come back with a big WAR EAGLE!
