I'm in the camp of security guy crossed a line. You can use your hand to motion someone back, but when the fingers flex it gets a little weird and then he relaxes fingers and flexes them a second time. I would have at the very least brushed his hand off.

Yea bizarre reaction to say the least. The guy was just doing his job. Sarkisian has had some very cringe tunnel moments before taking the field this season with his faux "fired up, let's go" attitude.

That's what I'm leaning towards here — that he was (exaggeratedly) fired up right before taking the field, and somehow thought that "being a badass" energy would transfer to the players.
Similar to a basketball coach getting t'd up to amp up his team.
I don't think it worked.
