The big question is does Ewers get his mullet ripped off in the first or second quarter?

Because reality? Even though technically Baylor/ BYU is the only ranked vs. ranked game, it's still two teams nobody cares about at all.

People would rather see Bama maul a hapless ex-blueblood that grew soft and lost their horns.

Just more fun than seeing Baptists & Mormons fake fight.

This game is such a snore fest that even Matt Barrie on ESPN mentioned the spread has gone up to 20 points and with barely a whisper he states, “can’t wait for the big one in Austin”, as he nearly fell asleep at the desk while talking

The 1100 AM kickoff is disrespectful.

Big matchups deserve a full GameDay experience of drinking, cooking, socializing and talking friendly schit talk

Nothing wrong with Game Day broadcasting from a world class university in a world class city in a game involving college football royalty. Ala has won one once in nine tries v Texas, and is likely to improve to 2 of 10 when all is said and done. That’s worth watching. But should be a great atmosphere. Hook ‘em!

ESPN should be in Provo then. Sounds like a Holy War…

If Jess Simms is a peloton instructor, she needs to actually ride the damn bike! Way too much junk in the trunk

BAMA/UT averaged 7M viewers per week in ‘21 & Baylor/BYU 2M.

Simple math.

This is true. But when some poster on here claims “nobody cares” obviously math isn’t his strong suit. 2M is a lot more than nobody

It is almost as disrespectful as being ranked #10, yet being a -3 point underdog to BYU.

Well since there’s like 30 million folks in Texas, there’s bound to be at least a million who cheer for Baylor. You should have seen all of the side walkers wearing Baylor gear when they won the NCAA tournament a few years ago. It’s not an exaggeration

Kentucky and Florida will be a ranked matchup. But yeah no way ESPN is passing up an Alabama/Texas circle jerk

Gameday would go to Gainesville for UF/UK, or Knoxville for UT/Pitt before going to watch Baylor travel to play BYU

OTOH the odd thing about football in Texas is Baylor, TCU, TT have huge followings whenever they play OUT. Everyone wants to see OUT lose.
