The only reason you got rid of both coordinators is you realize your program just got passed by your big brother. Since you judge your success on how you do against us, this year was a failure and if you don't change things, you will be too far back to do anything about it. You had your chance but Mullen woke up the sleeping bear. Now deal with it.

And its not even close. Msu didnt beat anyone with a pulse and finished that off with a beatdown by a weak big10 team that hasnt won a bowl in 120years while ole miss is finishing strong by spanking msu and winning their bowl game and dominating msu in the recruiting game. About to be some big changes go down at oxford

Ole Miss was in more games then state.. MSU could not even keep fans in there stands vs A&M and the reborn snowbowl as MSU called it.

No different than we were after 09 and 10. As long as you beat your conference rival and/or ain a bowl game, you deserve to be happy after years of mediocrity.
At some point though you want to surpass even that and compete with the top SEC schools. Stagnating and/or going backwards should result in coaching changes because the standards are now much higher.

Honest question. Did State beat a team with a .500 or winning record?
