Explaining that we played better against quality opponents this year, ask any fanbase on here which one they'd rather play this year, we beat you (soundly) head to head, and we weren't embarrassed in our bowl game all points to the fact that we were better than State this year. Moral victories is all they can reply with when OM fans bring up their 4 blow out losses and 1 embarrassing bowl loss. Apparently it doesn't matter to play well against very good competition when you have 26 freshmen and sophomores on your 2- Deep.

I thought this thread was about the difference in mentalities. It's very simple: We are us, and they aren't. Pretty much sums it up.
If we really must get into more detail than that, there's always the fact that they think Starkville is just dandy.

I realize the only trophy Mississippi State fans have ever won is named after its shape. Most trophies aren't. The Lombardi trophy looks nothing like a Lombardi.
