Texas Tech and MSU are not nice campuses.

Lubbock is a craphole and the campus isn't bad. MSU is pretty nice in the fall.

I'd think that East Lansing is probably a really nice town. It's a town of 50k people and Sparty has an enrollment of just under 40k so there are just as many college students in town as there are inhabitants.

EL is pretty small, yes, but that said much better there than it's counterpart west (Lansing).

As for the other towns, Charlottesville and UVA's campus look really pretty. I've always wanted to see Monticello.

Winters are harsh...but Ames is a really nice town. If I had to live somewhere in the upper midwest...Ames wouldn't be a bad place to live...it is certainly head and shoulders above Lubbock.

In 2017, San Francisco experienced 31,322 thefts from vehicles alone — that is, 85 thefts from vehicles per day — while an arrest was made in only 2 percent of reported break-ins. Most of the break-ins are attributed to organized gangs and often committed by those with prior felony convictions. In November of 2017 alone, 6,211 needles were collected while via the 311 App, 1,498 requests were made to clean up human feces. The public defecation problem has become so intolerable in San Francisco that private citizens have built an online map to track the concentrations of poop in the city, so that pedestrians may know to avoid certain areas.

Plus, terrible roundball in SF?

I asked a friend what's to do in Lubbock. He said they watch the grass grow.

Y’all have no idea what y’all are talking about. Lubbock has the best infrastructure of all these places, OIL money out the arse, affordable housing(bang for your buck ie texas in general), and amazing weather. What I mean by weather is no humidity.

Lubbock is affordable because no one wants to live there. As for amazing weather? GTFO. If you like dirt then Lubbock is awesome

Texas Tech has a nice campus. Lubbock has literal tumbleweeds blowing through town.

Never been to charlottesville so i cant comment on that, but Austin is in no way one of the best places to live in the country. Its atleast 3rd in Texas. I would venture to say that all of the Austinites went and voted for that over and over again to get that result. Its like little california tucked in the middle of Texas.

Oh, please. Charlottesville is beautiful. But I have a hunch as to why you described that city as such.
