I thought it was crazy they didn't check on him after Princely absolutely lit him up earlier in the game. Of course, he ran a QB sneak for a TD the next play. This one doesn't look good though.

Allegedly he was supposed to hard count here rather than call the snap as well. This play resulted is in an unblocked Ole Miss defender getting an easy strip-sack and recovery.

Refs should’ve sent him to the sideline there.

Hard to tell. UGA players and fans are so stupid naturally, you can't tell when they have been knocked stupid.

Here's the hit Stockton took earlier in the game.

Ran a QB sneak for a TD on the next play. I believe I would have retired.

I hadn’t noticed the other play but I blamed the center for snapping it early since it looked like Stockton and the line weren’t ready

Do you mean during the Sugar Bowl, or during the Banjo Scene?

Please clarify.

Let’s be real, players are merely paid cogs in a money machine. When they break, buy another. You only have them for 13ish days of work a year. Use the part when it’s the best available part, even if chipped.

Everyone who claims “safety, education, care blah blah blah…” is mere performative theater.

Just like a large factory.

Smart certainly had a concussion in the 4Q - the 4th & 2 at the G33 down 27-24 with 9:27 to play - crazy -

quote:

Smart had the offense race on to the field on fourth-and-2 from the Georgia 33 early in the fourth quarter to catch the Rebels off guard, but quarterback Gunner Stockton was sacked for a 10-yard loss, handing the ball to Ole Miss at the Bulldogs’ 23.

“We screwed that up a little bit,” Smart said. “We had a misfire there. The ball was not supposed to be snapped in that situation, but that was on us and the coaches. The book said we needed to go for it, but we could have taken a delay (penalty).”

You couldn't be anymore wrong. Head upright; entire face mask against the flesh of the arm; no launch; no contact to QB's head. It's the perfect form tackle.

He's one of the few players who could still play well being concussed.

He hit with his shoulder but could have been called for a launch. It was close but I think it is a no call. Gunner is a tough young man.
