Here’s a little known fact for you. For quite a while now, you’ve had to pay refs by the quarter instead of by the game. With inflation and the NIL, even the REC has to make cuts somewhere.
Easiest place is the last quarter when you’re at home against a team with an interim coach.

I was at the game, and I’ll admit when I noticed the penalties on the ribbon board at 10-1, it was a little eyebrow raising. I was pretty sure there’d be some discussion on the board.
