It’s a good academic school. Sports fans are an embarrassment to the school and common decency. No better than apes that throw trash on the field.

Might be the color orange …

Arkansas and Oklahoma see you as an easy W

And we’ve beaten you 50% of the time since I’ve been breathing

So I think we’re all ok with it

Does somebody have the preferences info? I would be a little surprised if Arkansas chose Texas. I know Arkansas hates us, but that doesn’t mean they want to play us.

Were you around in the 1960s?

Yeah, Arky hates us worse than death and taxes… you’ve heard Texas fans speaking of Fayettenam, right??

One way or another, Arky perennially wants to kick our azz…

Arkansas doesn’t get to choose anything as evidenced by having our usc annual game and lsu thanksgiving game taken away and saddling us with missou.

I was, and I recall seeing horns down used for the first time in the 1969 game VS Arkansas.
As far as I know Arkansas originated the horns down. Anyone have an earlier sighting?

LOL, no. Most I know like the State of Texas for many reasons and many of us have family there.

As for the permanent game it makes sense going all the way back to the first meeting in1894 with the teams playing each other 80 times.

Arkansas is a pissant program. They hate us more than they like themselves and will admit it like it’s something they should be proud of. I’m disappointed they are in our 3 because they’re no different than the many big 12 programs we left behind.

Seems like their stadium is packed every time they play us. I’m sure they picked us.
I wanted them too.
I know this is the SEC, but I’m glad to reunite with our rivals and even possibly make some new ones; although there seems to be plenty.

That may change but only older Aggies care about Texas

Glad they appreciate the history.
For the younger ones, you’d think they’d care about dominating the state of TX.

Texas is 10-3 since 2000.
6-1 @ Kyle Field

I definitely wouldn't be ok with that.

First, if you think Arkansas has any pull whatsoever when it comes to these decisions. Second, yes, I believe most Arkansas fans want to have Texas on the schedule annually. Especially those of us that are old enough to have been around during the SWC days.

If we, the fans, had any say the only change we'd make would be to swap Mizzou for Ole Miss or aTM. Me personally, I'd rather OU than Mizzou if we can't have ATM or Ole Miss.

Don't be sad. Mizzou is a good little rivalry game for Arkansas.

I wasn’t a Texas fan until after the SWC so I’ve only heard tales of the hate and saw the hate for Texas when Texas played at Arkansas in baseball this past spring.

My goal is to go watch Texas play at every SEC stadium. Is this hate spew into lack of hospitality and I leave the wife and kid at home or are the fans welcoming until it’s game time?
