OMG…imagine this… an LSUer bitching about schedules. It can’t be can it?

Where is the usual complaint about other team’s schedules? Where is “Alabama gets to play Tennessee while we have to play Florida?”

This thread isn’t about any of that dumb shite you fricking retard. Go away

Arkansas gets to play at Florida.

This makes 4 of the last 5 meetings between the teams being played AT Florida.

How the hell does the SEC office do it?

Does anyone know who it is in Birmingham that is in charge of scheduling?

They such whoever it is.

Back in 2010, the SEC still had 12 teams. Alabama played 8 of them. 7 of those 8 teams had a bye week the week before the Alabama game, the 8th had a FCS team IIRC, meaning the SEC also gave them the week before Alabama off.

Alabama took theirs the week before LSU, so that kind of canceled out that game. Alabama also played FCS the week before Auburn. But it was just amazing how whoever made the scheduled allowed every team Alabama faced to do that.

Black Friday Arkansas was great. So many trips to Little Rock and Fayetteville on Thanksgiving day. Such a great series.

You aren't, but LSU and Auburn are the 2 biggest road blocks in terms of difficulty.

Being a rival comes from years of living next to fans of other teams and dealing with them on the daily basis(meaning wins and losses are bragging rights for the year) rather than opponent difficulty.

At least OM got a 7-5 split next year for the open date. Last two years, OM had a 3-9 and 9-3 split.

When the schedule came out today I had actually said that I miss the thanksgiving Arkansas game. I’m sure a lot of tiger fans share the same sentiment.

Yeah, those 10 Ole Miss wins in 65 games gives you a lot of room to talk shite. Sewanee has as many wins against Alabama

Yep, but the open and fcs weeks are more about timing than opponent after a certain point. The open date comes first because the team will have played like 8 weeks in a row by then. And then the FCS date basically gives them an extra week of prep, as well as time to heal for those who need it.

So if you swap around the LSU and Auburn games, the bye week and FCS game would remain the same as now.

Don't y'all play all those teams every year (except Georgia)?
