Murray was good against Army. Why do people keep mentioning this?

No, Tua getting injured and made to look mortal vs UGA is what cost Tua the Heisman.

Murray would of put up those yards vs anyone... tds vs anyone. You can’t complain about defenses when Baker put it on UGA last year.... Murray has the skills and O-line to do it to anyone and it’s been proven. Murray would of won by more votes had it not been for Baker winning last year. If anything there was OU fatigue.

No sitting out 4th quarters and 200 less snaps did.

Tua was the odds on favorite going into the the last week despite not having quite the numbers of the other two. Alabama had two players finish in the top10 of voting and won other awards. I think many fans are experience Bama fatigue but clearly not the people voting on the awards. In fact, I would say the evidence shows playing for Bama increases your chances.

Bama destroying 12 teams cost Tua the Heisman. Murray played three more games or about 13 1/2 quarters more then Tua did.

Timing - Bama played Georgia, and Tua didn’t have a great game
Injuries - see above
Some Bama Fatigue

And a good candidate in Murray

I also think that subconsciously the voters are expecting to see Tua as a candidate again next year and aren’t excited about a multiple year Heisman winner. Esp. from Bama.

You definitely get less credit for winning the race with the fast car

Tua got jobbed but has best talent so maybe that hurt?

Ironically, Jalen Hurts May have cost him the award. It’s the last thing voters saw, and Bama fatigue probably factored in.

I don't think the voters needed much of an excuse. He was undeniable for most of the season. I think Bama Fatigue played a big part.

I won't disagree that Bama fatigue is causing the troll attempts, but you're deluded if you think it's not working against their players too. Any excuse to vote against Alabama players is all folks were looking for.

Playing overrated SEC Defenses cost him the Heisman. Bama won those games so easily, when they played a decent D it was obvious that the level of competition was the cause for the numbers. If Bama had played a reverse schedule, Tua would have won going away with those numbers.

got fricked. He played hurt and it cost him. He could’ve not played and Bama lost and Tua would have won...

True, this is why awards are stupid. Especially when emotional basket cases are voting.

If Georgia wins the game, Oklahoma missed the playoffs, Tua is heisman. If Tua sits at Georgia, Tua is Heisman. These are facts, and it's why the award is retarded.

Did Alabama fatigue cost Tua the Heisman?
Tua's ankle fatigue on the first series cost him a Heisman.

Still, playing 3 qtrs on 2 bad wheels during the worst offensive and defensive outings of the year and keeping it within one score before a second ankle injury is impressive. It affected his stats and lost a Heisman. But, it kept the game in reach and prevented having to insert Jalen in the first half, which denied Smart the ability to make any effective halftime adjustments for a Jalen led offense.

Did you not watch the College Football Awards on Thursday night? It was an advertisement for Alabama football! Tua had been the frontrunner for the award all season but Kyler was right behind him every step of the way. On the last weekend before voting really got going, Tua got injured and had a bad game. Murray did not. shite happens.

Had Tua passed for 250 yards and 2 TDs with no interceptions, that trophy would have been his this morning.

It made it easier for voters to jump to Kyler. But if tua played well last week he still would’ve won. So no it’s not the main reason

No, Murray was the best player for a whole season. Tua tailed off in the UGA game. Some of it UGA, some of it injuries. It doesn't matter. If the trophy was handed out in mid November, it's Tua's. Murray was better in the conference championship games. That was the difference.

Tua's shitty performance in the SECCG cost him the Heisman.
