People might no be able to stop the inevitable, but at least they have a vote on the Heisman.

LOL no. Stiff competition and not playing well the week before is what did it. Bama fatigue is what is causing all of these weak troll attempts.

I won't disagree that Bama fatigue is causing the troll attempts, but you're deluded if you think it's not working against their players too. Any excuse to vote against Alabama players is all folks were looking for.

Didn’t Bama players win almost every other award?

Injuries cost him the Heisman

If he would have stayed healthy he would have been the run away winner

UGA playing a really good game cost Tua the Heisman. Hopefully he can do it next year but Murray deserved it. Should be exciting facing him in the playoff game!! I just hope Tua is OK to play

Not playing full games also cost him. Deflated his statson which is what folks looked at in the end.

no. A gimpy knee half the season and a relatively bad game vs UGA impacted his chance, plus, the midget from Oklahoma had a great year.

Both had their effect.

Kyler Murray was also a worthy candidate.

Ironically, Jalen Hurts May have cost him the award. It’s the last thing voters saw, and Bama fatigue probably factored in.

Considering Baker won it last year I think OU fatigue would have been a factor

No, Kyler had one of if not the best season in CFB history. He's a worthy winner. Quit this crap.

Yes. People are tired of the SEC winning everything which is why a crap OU team is in the playoff as well. Just another easy win for Bama

Probably pity votes for Murray since OU plays Alabama in the Orange Bowl....

No! Oklahoma is a system. Three Heisman winners in the last 10 years who played QB at OU.

As for Bama fatigue, there's probably a bias component to the Heisman voting. Tua is surrounded by elite talent on the O Line, at Wide Receiver and running back. Everyone, and most certainly the media, know that Bama's roster is stacked.

It won't matter, the last three OU QB Heisman winners lost their championship or playoff games to SEC teams and LSU crushed Lamar Jackson after he won it.

Tua got fricked. He played hurt and it cost him. He could’ve not played and Bama lost and Tua would have won...

How about Army against Oklahoma? Difference is it happened in September. Murray is a GREAT athlete but the Heisman affinity for Oklahoma QB's is weird. His revenge against Texas was a big deal. Essentially the Heisman boiled down to the LAST weekend which is stupid as hell. Hurts leading the comeback hurt Tua as the Heisman is supposed to be the best player regardless of the team. Murray IS Oklahoma while Alabama would probably finish undefeated with Hurts maybe without the blowouts. All in All, the Heisman has lost its luster with me because of some of the political, team and conference affiliated bias. It is impossible to single out ONE player from myriad terrific athletes in this age. The playoff may speak volumes, however, Bama's defense is MUCH better than the Sooners. The biggest difference is that the Oklahoma secondary doesn't have the coverage skills to match up with Bama's stable of speedy receivers. Plus, the Sooners defensive players seem to have lost the ability or the "want to" to tackles. They are the worst defense I've seen in a long time. I am an LSU fan that has NO animosity towards the Tide or Nick Saban. This is about as clearly as I can put it!
