The NCAA is very slow about these things. Always has been.
Ole Miss had a player admit to getting paid on National Television and it still took the NCAA four years to figure out what happened.

I feel like I have been hearing about the end of Will Wade forever. NCAA needs to piss or get off the pot, because it is a bland storyline at this point.

The Kentucky fans responding to this are hilarious.
LSU is just trying to do what they always have done for years.
A starting five of McDonalds all Americans don’t happen by chance. Money is involved and always have been.

Why does LSU basketball have you all riled up?

They like the power that holding information gives them. It’s natural viagra for some folks.

With Woodward and Emmert being family, I think it's very important non-LSU fans come to terms with one fact:
Nothing is going to happen to LSU or Wade.
Deal. With. It.
Carry on bc hope springs eternal and all...

I honestly don't think it's a factor. I think they probably agreed a long time ago to keep personal and professional separate.

This could get interesting. I think Wade being terminated is a foregone conclusion, but TECHNICALLY they have him on tape committing a federal crime.
There’s a scenario where he actually does time

Link?
I would think if this was a case than the FBI who had the tape would have investigated him.

Who is "they" and how did they get it? What's the Federal Crime?
I assume you have these details to back your statement. Share with the group.

Wade will get fired and that will be the major punishment.
This will only happen if Woodward has it pre-arranged to hire someone like Cal or K.
Imagine the melt.

And I don't think for one second LSU reinstates Wade unless there's open dialogue between Emmert and Woodward. Why risk it?
Woodward and Emmert's relationship helps LSU and Wade (assuming he didn't lie about there being more news to break).

Yep. He may end up being right about it this time. But, this is a rinse and repeat thing with him. It would be hilarious if the 2 schools weren't really LSU and Arizona. I think if he got specific names he would have just tweeted that out in the first place. He's so invested in LSU getting hammered now that it's become comical.

I’m probably the one person here who hasn’t followed the Will Wade saga.
That’s nothing against LSU; it’s simply an issue of me being a bandwagon hoops fan and not keeping up with basketball.
What’s the story with Vitale and LSU?
Why do LSU fans think he has it in for ‘em?
I’m not suggesting he doesn’t, I’m just wondering if someone could share some backstory?
