Vitale must be furious. He goes berserk about Wade, LSU fans call out his hypocricy because he is great friends with Rick Pitino (biggest sleazeball in college basketball), etc., he gets into a Twitter war with LSU fans, LSU football goes on to have one of the best seasons of all time and wins the natty (severely lessening the sting if Wade gets canned), basketball season is canceled, Kansas is notified of allegations of major infractions, Louisville and his buddy (Pitino) are notified of allegations even though Pitino was fired from there already, his beloved Duke is involved with allegations about Zion and his family getting compensated, and now any news about LSU and Wade at this point are almost non-stories when Kansas, Louisville and Duke are much bigger basketball names.
