It was a spear against a defenseless PR man waiting on the ball. To make matters worse he got up and pounded his chest like he made a great play.

He should have been ejected. Its never been a a clean play to spear a PR who is looking up at the ball. There is no way to defend that play.

He laid the wood. Its excitable. Obviously, it was a penalty. He thought the ball was gonna be there from the lack of returner calling fair catch. I'm serious. There was nothing ejection worthy. Of course we're in an era of the pussyfication of football.

It was a dirty hit. Wade was ejected and there was a 15 yard penalty.

No one died. Damn.

Committing 3 personal fouls in 1 play= ejection worthy

Punt to Vandy

Vandy punt returner calls fair catch/or is just shading the sun, trying to catch the ball.

#1 Wade from Arkansas spears the returner at full speed about 2 seconds before the ball gets there.

Vandy guy is down, #1 bumping, grinding, basic thug celebration.

15 yard penalty and #1 ejected. The entire time #1 is on the sideline slapping coaches hands away and refusing to be "disrespected"

Coach is attempting to walk him to the locker room and #1 is still bitching, pulling away etc.

Another coach enters the picture and grabs him by the scruff of the neck and drags his arse out basically. #1 bitching and resistant all the way to the locker room.

It's sad I know. Why would we try to protect college kids from serious injury? In the good ole' days those boys would get a concussion and break a leg and be in on the next play. Who cares if someone gets brain damage from a cheap hit? Pussies.

He should NOT have been ejected. 15 yd catch interference. He was happy he made a good hit. No taunting, no celebration. Sec refs suck

Good call IMO. The guy is protected, because his eyes are up, and this guy looks to lead with his helmet on an unprotected player. The ejection I could go either way with, but er on the side of player protect, here!

This is a moot point.

It doesn't matter if he calls a FC or not. You have to give him a chance to catch the ball. Which landed 5 yards in front of him a second after he got hit.

Take that LSU logo off your profile. I'm ashamed to be a part of the same fanbase as a fricking idiot like yourself.

You forgot the part about many of the Arky posters liking it and saying it was a clean hit.

He clearly should have been ejected. Looks as if he lead with his head against a defenseless player. You cannot allow shite like that to happen.

This.

This is a perfect example if helmet to helmet contact. Hits like this are the reason the rule was made. I didn't see all of it. Did the guy get up or was he not moving?
