I would say hair.

But what made UT pick him besides being the 6th choice and his last name?

I don't see why people hate Dooley so much. There's been no depth at all whatsoever since he's been at UT and he hasn't had a QB that could stay on the field consistently. It would've been hard for anybody to be successful at UT during the past 4 years. He may not be great, but I doubt anyone could have had prosperity with UT's situation the past half decade.

He's good for a half. He sucks at adjustments.

If he's competent, he'll prove me wrong this year.

But this is page 3 and I still haven't seen a legitimate answer to the original question.

He translated being a marginally successful WAC HC into a multi million dollar gig.

That's a pretty big strength, really.

He has a good resume. He seems to be a reasonably good recruiter. He seems ethical and worthy of representing your great program. I think the roster has been so depleted that he hasn't been able to demonstrate his "strengths" yet. I will say that he strikes me as the least poised Coach in the SEC and very petulant, like somebody who might cycle down when faced with diversity.

But really, this year will tell the tale and I expect 8 wins and Dooley to get his mojo back.

Not as fat as Terry Bowden. On par with Shula. His dad was a mildly successful coach. Oh, he knows Nick Saban.
