After 3 quarters of Bama getting torched it was perfectly clear the defensive strategy was a failure.

If you are going to go down, and giving up 628 yards is as down as down gets, at least go down throwing some punches. I would have blitzed the ever living shite out of that motherfricker.

Couldn't have possibly gone any worse.

It almost seemed like Saban believed the Manziel he was playing was the one LSU shut down last year by forcing him to pass.

He was wrong

It was good enough to win. That's all that matters.

Blitz JFF and you leave open holes and let him run roughshod all over your defense. Bama got just enough pressure to force turnovers and mistakes.

The trick is to match up well against him and his receivers, or just don't play him.

And he'd have run 250 yards on your arse. You don't blitz mobile QBs. You contain, and you have a secondary that can play worth a frick.

And this is after the most-watched game in CBS history resulted in a win. Some of you Bama fans really need to relax!

Look your most academically challenged walk on straight in the eye and explain to him what "Take one for the team" means?
