re: What is a good bug and tar remover for car?
Posted by geauxturbo on 3/25/26 at 5:35 pm to prplhze2000
Ive had great luck with clay bars for bugs. Pick one, they all seem identical.
Tar is a bit tougher, probably need a tar remover like losted above.
That said, after its off Ive found applying ceramic wax/sprays are amazing at making it easy to remove future bugs and tar.

re: Any mechanics or car experts here? O2 sensor heater circuit
Posted by geauxturbo on 3/20/26 at 10:37 pm to ISEN_AG
How is the wiring? Does it look like they spliced in wires that are not OE? A lot of univeral O2 sensors require a cut and splice. My Jeep had a wire that melted against the exhaust which causd a CEL and not actually the O2 sensor. Worth looking at closely. Bad connection and it wont matter what you replace it with.
If it ends up being the cat, I got a Walker replacement for my Jeep that was reasonable. Rockauto is your friend as they are affordable and seem to avoid fake parts unlike Ebay and Amazon.

re: Price of Oil - Nuclear Iran?

We can do whatever the frick we want because they cant send a nuke up our tailpipe. Options, we have all at our disposal.
Waiting would have been dumb.
Im asking, what would that look like? What would you do to solve $350 bbl oil, nuclear Iran, and ships on fire in the straight? If its so stupid, what are the solutions?

Was Iran not trying to develop a nuclear weapon? So, if they did and they shut down the straight, like they are doing now, what would you do to solve $350 barrel prices?

Price of Oil - Nuclear Iran?

For shits and giggles...
ChatGPT, what would the price oil be if Iran backed by nuclear weapons shut down the Straight of Hormuz?
How would panicans and commies solve this?
ChatGPT, what would the price oil be if Iran backed by nuclear weapons shut down the Straight of Hormuz?
quote:
If Iran actually used nuclear weapons and shut down the Strait of Hormuz, the oil market would go into immediate shock. That strait is the single most important oil chokepoint in the world.
Roughly 20–21 million barrels of oil per day pass through the Strait of Hormuz.
That’s about 20% of global oil consumption.
Major exporters using it include Saudi Arabia, Iraq, Kuwait, United Arab Emirates, and Qatar.
If shipping stops, the world instantly loses access to a massive chunk of supply.
Likely price reaction (very rough estimates)
Economists usually model scenarios like this:
Immediate panic spike:
Oil could jump to $150–$250 per barrel within days.
If the strait stayed closed for weeks:
Prices could push $250–$350+ per barrel because global inventories would start draining.
...
How would panicans and commies solve this?

Time out, it wont start unless you jump it? And it dies after running for an hour. Battery or more likely alternator is dead and its killing your battery.
Put a voltmeter on the battery while the car is running. Should be 14.2 V or so when running. 12v when off. If you dont have one, a friend certainly does.

This has to be some sort of mental illness like munchhausen. Why are you pandering to Muslims like they are your own children? White progressive women do the same thing for anyone not white straight male.
The message, when you have a lovely civilization should be, "Welcome, please assimilate or leave."
They hate the people who gave them everything and want to implode it. Its bizarre.
No one says you have to hate anyone, its ok to expect certain behaviors and condem those that cause disruption.

I'm sure it took massive pressure and 4D chess to trick the GOAT POTUS to move on a failing extremist islamic cleric run country about to obtain a nuclear weapon. I mean, they were only know for backing just about every terrorist organization known to man.
That along with their advancing missle tech was NO WORRIES.
And why even take advantage of the timing of a civil uprising to boot?
Clever jews. Naw we shouldve waited and had a crazier more aggressive North Korea like country on our hands.
Timing was perfect. Execution damn near perfect. Just needs to close the deal. I like Trumps chances of closing.

All the boot licking safety sniveling pussies in here send their kids to school on a bus with no seatbelts.
I give zero shits if someone has a seatbelt on or not, if they are 18+. Under 18, what in the holy frick?
Surprised the cop didnt rip you out of your vehicle and beat the frick out of you to keep you safe. Serve and protect or else!! Meanwhile just about every cop video I ever see has some roid raging prick hauling arse with no seatbelt tapping on a computer and going 70 mph over the speed limit while looking through 1% tint. For our safety of course.
PS. I always wear my seatbelt because I want to, not because some a-hole made it a law. I also buy expensive tires. Expensive tires save lives. We should have laws! Moore laws!! Save people from themselves (and collect fines if they dont let us help them!).
Let the down votes RAIN!!

re: Dryer Balls - Why are women so gullible?
Posted by geauxturbo on 2/20/26 at 6:33 am to dalefla
Eh, my wife got them as well. Dryer sheets eliminate static. The balls reduce static (no difference in fluffing IMHO). My dryer is 12 years old and there is no film on the drum nor on the lint catcher and all the silly sensors still work just fine.
Maybe we didnt cram enough dryer sheets in per load. One seems to work pretty damn good even if you use it more than once.
Also, I dont eat the dryer sheets so I'm not worried about trace chemicals in them.
But if you're into balls, by all means, toss your balls in there and tumble away.

I'm only 6'5" and its not as great as people make it out to be. I have to try on cars (most dont fit). Airplanes suck. Beds are too short. Ive split my head open on a house boat door frame. Bicylces are too small, motorcycles are too small, shoes are hard to find, pants and shirts are hard to find.
Ya, give me 5'5" over 7'3". Zero doubt.
