I think the difference is that putting the top down in most cars requires pushing a button. Taking the doors off a car requires a bit more wrestling and doesn't result in any additional sunlight or fresh air, though it does result in more noise and dirt and less safety. But maybe these renegades are drawn to things that are dangerous.

You just lift to take it off. Its really not a hassle at all. Like maybe 1 minute to pull both doors. Just set them down in the garage in front of the Jeep.

As far as dirt or safety, neither are a concern.
Ive had my Jeep for 28 years. Doors are rarely on, top goes up and down depending on weather. Its just a great open air experience especially if you're mildly claustrophobic. I rented a Camaro once and almost had to trade it back in, lol. Like being shoved in a hole.

I would have the windshield down if I could, but the wind compressed over the hood at 45 mph will rip your face off.

I'll drive 8 hours on the Interstate doors off top down without thinking twice. Hell, the ole gal that used to run the Cajun Jeep Jamboree would drive her CJ7 all the way to the Rubicon once a year. That is a Jeeper right there. Furthest Ive gone is Katemcy, Tx.

What was the question again?

I don’t think the kid should be in jail simply from what we saw there. Sue me.

He had him pancaked. He then got up and supler fly snooka'd his arse with a 300+ pound body. Thats assault, not playing hard.
I would laugh but roughly 45% of the country would likely pull the lever for that mental midget without a second thought.

This gets me more than anything. Ride the bus or your bike

Bus rides tend to give young children culture shock nowadays. Not the same experience as during my youth.

Without knowing the park, why would she not have enlisted help form others?

We went last year, the visitor center was run by a couple of ladies. One was older and neither looked like MMA stars. Plus the cell service was shite everywhere, even at the visitor center. We finally got service at the top of one the trails. The restaraunt had a guy running it but that was fairly far from the visitor center. Pool life guards were girls as well. Ranger did pass by several times a day but not that often. Cabins were pretty far from visitor center. Not a place Id want to be attacked without my pew pew.

Very nice hiking trails built by men who came home from WW1 if I remember correctly.

Edited to add. You really only saw people at the cabins, scenic overlooks, and the pool area. Anywhere else, it was pretty thin. Devils Den trail was the buisiest and we only ran into 3 other groups. Lots of trails to spread people out.
lol, that doesn’t always work either.

Hell, sometimes you are polite, hand them ID etc, and they beat your arse, arrest you, or steal all of your belongings. Police ARE NOT your friend.

Police need to be reigned in. They have little to no accountability. That is unacceptable for people who can and do take your freedom at a whim.

He's not a reporter

You dont need a license to be the free press under the 1st amendment. Nor a degree.

I swear Americans have zero idea about the Constitution. Probably why it keeps eroding.

That State Trooper should be charged with brandishing and assault and the other officers should be investigated for conspiracy to chill the 1st amendment rights of the free press. They want to punish him for the investigation into one of their thin blue ego gang members.

This is why people think all cops are bad. They had video evidence and still did the wrong thing in arresting the reporter. If 50% of the cops were good, the other 50% would be in jail.

fighting this for 10 years

I did as well. It was terrible, could not get to sleep. Stopped smoking and I started running (not a joke) and it went away. Completley. I have no clue why, only thing I can figure is Im too tired to be wrestless. May have been linked to nicotine somehow. Also forces me to drink less alcohol since you'd rather water after a 3 mile run than a glass of wine or beer. Go figure, stop smoking, drinking, and get excercise and you sleep better, right...lol.

Im talking old man dad pace too, Im not breaking any records. Couch to 5k, then just kept it up.

Does anyone here have a son who recently joined the Marines?

Yup, 3rd Battalion November Company. Just recently got back from graduation. My son was in so so shape and was only used to me chewing his arse.

Transformation was impressive and opportunities are pretty dang good. My son is not in infantry though, he chose another MOS. So, I can understand the concern. But even if he had gone infantry, I'd still encourage him. He pushed through and came out a man. Very very proud of him.

Evans was clealry just out of gas last inning.
Maybe after that fine display of pitching LSUs hitters wont get up looking like they are manufacturing diamonds with their a-hole.

Any chance we can get center to transfer?
Swung and dug ball 4 out of the dirt. Great eye.

The right has definitely done a 180 on free speech this year.

Being against foreigners terrorizing Americans for their religious choice and promoting genocide while a guest on US soil is not even close to chilling free speech. Not even in the realm.

That excuse will work until your luck runs out and some ole baw slangs a rock at your windshield creating cracks galore

Cracks galore, hell..one 8 inch crack on the passenger side fails your vehicle. I spent 2 weeks chasing down an EVAP issue on my 2006 Chevy 5.3L Silverado that is otherwise in perfect mechanical condition. Figured it out, went in and was failed for a crack just to the right of center behind my mirror that I could barely see. One crack.

Meanwhile, F1 drivers racing at 200+ mph with a bar literally in the middle of their face.

Never thought of that. Good tip.
