21 (December 1994) - if he was in his "normal" grade he'd be a College Senior instead of a College Sophomore.

I have a buddy(UF fan) who laughs uncontrollably when we talk about this. So now I do as well

Yes, he's old as hell

Coker got better as the season progressed. A testament to Kiffin IMO.

No he isn't. He is the same age as all of the NFL rookie guys this year that came out as Juniors, younger than all the 4 year guys.

Exactly. And with experience, he could play in the NFL right now as well. But, he's at Alabama

Maturity! I love it on a team full of guys that by all accounts could act like a bunch of Prima Donna's.

So Ridley failed a couple grades or what?

Don't quote me but something about being out of the country for an extended period of time. However, I've never seen that confirmed.

I've also never read anything about his grades being an issue, so I'm pretty sure it wasn't that (unless it was related to the living in Haiti rumor).

Bottom line, kind of weirdly, I've never seen anything concrete on the reason.

His family was lost for several years after coming over from Cuba.

Wasn't LSU recruiting him and Bama made a big deal about "stealing" him?

Hearing Saban told him he couldnt transfer to any other Div. One School. Must apply to University of Phoenix online.

I lol'd. Then realized he'd probably not see much PT with them either and felt sad.

But The Process must be allowed to continue unencumbered.

Never was a take for LSU. Surprised Bama took him. Kid should have gone to Oklahoma.

Any of the other LA WRs on the roster looking for playing time this year? Havent heard much out of Falkins or Sims.

Naw. They may need them for a possible 8-wide formation they're thinking about going with.

He reminds me of Quinn and Diarse. I wouldn't be shocked if you're right about this. Even if he was a take and had gone to LSU, he'd likely still be transferring.

All three have the same approximate measurables.

I'll take your word for it, but I'm pretty sure that was only because there was a bumper crop of WRs that year. I do remember him getting a lot of love from both sides. Mainly I remember because I kept reading his last name as "Chariot" and thinking that would be an awesome recruit name.
