Kid did get screwed by sloppy fielding with the OF botching the catch on the leadoff "double" then the 2B committing the error. He should have had 2 outs straight away.

It would be more typical for aggy to win this tourney, earn a spot in the big tournament, and then lose the first two games of their regional in aggy fashion, thereby crushing the souls of their fans forever. Whooooop!

Pico has thrown 77 innings this year with a few of the last starts going over 100 pitches. He absolutely can use the week off considering the SECT means little to us. But, cool.

Thought State was on the bubble, guess that was last week. If you’re getting a bid, might as well reset up. Getting run ruled, with aces on the bench, just doesn’t seem like it’s good for momentum.
