Wouldn't be a bad stepping stone, but they can't afford him.

Their previous HC made 600K.

Aranda gets 2.5 million at LSU

Aranda at Wisconsin interview

I have no idea what his personal long term goals are. If it's time for him to move on then I wish him well. He's been a great coach for us.

I wonder what happened with Butch and CSU. It seemed like he was going to be hired yesterday

I know. LSU totally sucked on defense before Dave got here.

Like RB10 said earlier, I'm guessing he is willing to take a slight cut after he's made bank as DC for a while. If not, he basically has priced himself out of any non-P5 job, and I'm not sure when he gets a P5 job.

Easy mistake.

Fort Collins is pretty close to perfect.

I'm not sure I'd leave for undesirable G5 jobs like that if I'm Aranda (moreso referring to UNLV than CSU). He'll get better job offers than that

Word on the A1abana board is Nick begged Butch to stay last night. Apparently Butch was given the “Head Coach in waiting” title. Interesting.

Per backchannels, Saban gifted Butch a new squeegee and a stool to help get those hard to reach places

He didn't gift him one. He just let's Butch borrow the one he has to use.

Saban got a new Benz recently. He doesn't trust anyone else to get the spring pollen off.

Butch is invaluable.

He's really quiet. Even on the sidelines, you basically never see him being animated or hollering. I'm not sure how he'd translate as a head coach.
