So it’s just not LSU, it’s also Missouri, ole miss, Texas.

Pathetic. All of it.

Your post. Daquan Wright, LSU, Ole Miss, Texas, Missouri. All pathetic.

His requirement was that the next program had to have a national championship in the last two decades…

Just like for Kiffin, LSU was an easy decision

Of course they were. Every SEC program has, at the very least, gauged interest in these players joining their roster if the TRO is granted.

These fans slinging shite at LSU will be singing a different tune in a few days.

No DeBoer and Alabama for saying they will do it too? What about Alabama & Texas A&M for rostering a former NBA player? Alabama actually played one already.

Weird.

Two things can be true at the same time:

(1) Teams at least kicked the tire on the TRO players before the conference voted 16-0 to prohibit it.

(2) Fans generally dislike the idea of NFL players returning to college.

Ole Miss will be one of the first to sign one of these players and you all know it.

Stop with the logic.

I'm told here that if your team kicks the tires, then all of its fans support pro players in college!

Fans dislike players playing with TROs at all.

The players are ineligible via NCAA rules so we should punish the program not the player. They can go play in another conference if they want.

Hence why all announced penalties should go against every school playing a player with a TRO.

Sounds good?

Man I posted a tweet from a reporter at The Advocate saying exactly that and they still wouldn't believe it.

Your coach will take whoever he thinks makes the team better. Just like he went and took the player from Clemson and went against the NCAA/SEC to get Chambliss on his roster.

Don’t be dumb

Ya know, I’ve bookmarked several posts clutching pearls today on this topic. If Thursday goes the players way, it would be quite interesting how the other schools behave… surely they wouldn’t stoop to the level

I think it’s accurate to say there is a good portion of the fan base that aren’t big fans
