I agree. ESPN always has someone to do this. In past years it was Brock Huard. They have someone play the contrarian.

DK is making his name by antagonizing SEC fans.
FSU is a shyt team sorry that's a fact they would go 4-4 at best in the west.

I like Kannell. It is his role at ESPN to be the anti-SEC voice. I don't read much more into than that.

the part where he sounds stupid is when he says miss st and ole miss etc still have a loss coming but i would say notre dame and oregon probably have a second loss coming so you can probably stfu about them michigan state i think makes the playoffs along with fsu and 2 sec teams

I don't know how I feel. Because this would probably penalize the SEC West representative that actually made and lost the game, while another SEC West team will likely end up more highly ranked after the SEC title game sat home.

I'd love to see what the playoff would do if AU won a three way tie breaker vs. Ole Miss and Miss St. which would include a win in Athens but then UGA beat AU in the Dome leaving you with...
