Why should LSU care about what she thinks.
LSU is bigger than 1 player or one players mother.
LSU provided an opportunity for her son and did their part.
But the school doesn't owe him or her anything once he leaves other than wish him well.

I don't know but official LSU policy is that no number is off the table completely except for Billy Cannon's #20. They may "retire" Jayden and Burrow's numbers into the ring of honor in the stadium, but it doesn't mean a new student athlete won't wear it.

This is honestly kind of hilarious from the angle that it involves LSU and LSU fans turbo-melt more than anyone else.
But mostly it's just yet another sign of the times with these overpaid, coddled athletes. I can't stand entitlement. Won't be rooting for him ever again and tbh it wouldn't bother me if his ACL exploded on the fist snap of the season.
