FWIW I think he gets it this year especially if he sets the record. They tend to award like a career achievement most years.

Would be amazing if he can beat the record then his younger brother tops
you can take this with a grain of salt, the " word" is that his younger brother has a stronger leg than him, though nowhere near as accrurate

I didn't coin the name Fieldgoal Gus for no reason. Gus 4 year kicker will be #1 in NCAA before he leaves.

The stats don’t break down red zone numbers, but show in 20 yard increments. The problem is the 7 yards between snapper and holder, I reckon.

Don’t pretend to know about kickers and NFL draft situations, but he seems to be a kicker that would have success in the NFL. Anybody?

last four years auburn and bama have kicked almost an identical amount of field goal attempts....

Best PK I can remember seeing in my lifetime in CFB. I give Morten Anderson the nod on NFL. I saw he was a Finance major in MBA program. He will need that to manage all that cash he is going to make with a 20+ yr NFL career...

Yes, thank you, I’m aware. The stats break down by distance, not yard line.

Just proves Gus is a shite head coach inside the 50. Good kicker but a shite head coach.

I’m not saying anything to diminish his accomplishments. Dude is a freaking kicking cyborg. Makes me wish we’d had him for 4 years. And he scares the hell out of me as a long range weapon. I’ll salute Mr. Carlson and hope like hell the IB doesn’t come down to his leg.

He kicked a 55 yarder yesterday that looked like it would have been good from 65 easily. Guy is an amazing kicker, will make a lot of $ in the NFL.
