I feel similarly about JK Scott. Both JK’s and Carlson’s career should count for something. Their entire body of work is amazing.

Carlson was money. He should’ve won awards every year as far as I’m concerned. It’s probably some backlash by the national media against both him and JK Scott because of SEC fatigue.

Any Auburn fan would admit it wasn't his best year. He missed 4 FG's I believe all from 45 or more...believe 3 were over 50. He had 3 blocks. I don't believe any of them were his fault, but DC says "We" referring to snapper, holder and kicker all the time. So "they" miss cued and allowed those blocks.
When he didn't win it last season because it felt like a lifetime achievement award I assumed he'd win it this season. I was wrong.

Just kidding - I cursed the TV last night when I saw the Utah kid take that award. It's a travesty that Carlson didn't win it after being in the running 3 yrs straight.
