I'm a little surprised he got that high. Easily the least athletic player on the floor for AU. Amazing what he was able to accomplish just by being smart around the basket.

Were people under the assumption that Broome has any vertical leaping ability at all? Hell, he hardly ever dunks the ball.

He's obviously talented enough that despite the lack of vertical he's invited to the combine and all that. And he'll get drafted.

Broome reminds me of a poor version of Kevin McHale. I often wondered watching him if I could slide an envelope under his shoes when he made his post moves. The fact he was so effective in such a great basketball league is pretty remarkable. I wonder if he can do it professionally.

Dan Issel couldn’t jump. Was slow and didn’t have quick feet but scored over 27000 points in the NBA. Broome has similar attributes. Works hard, runs the court, hustles and can shoot the ball. I like his chances at a good career.

Guys like Broom and Derrick Queen are so skilled they don't really rely much on verticality. That being said the Dez Watson comparison is hilarious!
