Yeah, we are shaking in our boots thinking about ole 3rd and Grantham

Sadly, being a Braves and Falcons fan, it isn't just the university. It's statewide :(

First of all the Oklahoma game was embarrassing, but because we had so many opt outs and our fire power was gone. Selfish players took a dump on their team mates.
I knew Florida was in trouble when Pitts opted out. He should go down in history with names like Tebow, etc. He was a great player.
quote:Emory Jones will be your key, imo. If he learned from those three years then Florida will be okay. The schedule is very tough for you this year, though. I'll really be interested in your Alabama and LSU games. They should be really good games.
2021 will surprise folks cause the offense will still be strong but with more rushing ability and Emory Jones is a lot better than most realize...he has been on campus learning for 3 years and will fool a lot of DBs. The defense will have a lot more depth and the QBs we play against will feel the heat. Dandy JT cant throw if he is prone on the turf.

And the play arm bands being the wrong ones against us in 2018 (or 2019)
I honestly don't remember this.
What was that about?

Florida burned through 2 early arse timeouts because the sideline couldn't communicate with the field due to the wrong arm bands/play sheets going to the Florida offense.
They also flubbed a 4th down attempt early in the game on our side of the 50, and we shut it down and flipped the field on them real quick.
For the biggest game of the year, coming off a bye week, Dan "in-game coaching" Mullen sure seemed confused RE: the simple stuff.

Damn, looks like you’re spot on:

Nov 6, 2019 - In a turn of events that sounds ridiculous on the surface, it appears Florida's first-half timeout issues during last weekend's loss to Georgia has been explained.
Blame the wristbands.
Longtime Gators inside Pat Dooley reported Tuesday on his Dooley Noted podcast that there was miscommunication across the board in the first quarter, leading to a pair of pre-snap timeouts that seemed to infuriate Florida coach Dan Mullen on Florida's first possession.
"We had a guy call in the other day and say he knew that (Florida) had the wrong wristbands, the wristbands did not mesh,” Dooley said. “In other words, they’re signaling in — and I’m just picking these out the air — we’re going to signal in X Blue. X Blue means three wide receivers left and one right and that’s the formation. Well, it was coming in X Blue on one wristband and X Yellow on the other.
“(Kyle) Trask was getting one play, the receivers were getting one play, it was a disaster. When we asked coach Mullen about it on Monday, he said there was an administrative problem. Since then, I’ve talked other people who said, yeah, that’s what was going on. That’s a bad mistake. That’s a mistake that shouldn’t be happening in Week 9 and at a program like this that are running around with jobs.”

We’re going to beat the 10x preseason national champs again

Mullen can only beat Georgia when they start a walk on at QB

Crap dude. How could we be the 10X National Champs? Florida fans have told us they were going to beat us the last 4 years in a row. You got us once. Congrats!

I can’t imagine how embarrassing it must be to have not won a championship in a big 3 sport in 30 years.

Probably just as embarrassing as getting beat 55-20 on National Television in a NY6 game? That would be my guess.

I mean, who sits a star player in a huge game like that? Maybe it has been done, but I don't recall it ever being done.
Kirby. All friggin' year with Justin Fields.

Says this out one side of his mouth while saying the dawgs loss to Texas meant everything on the other side.

That game is irrelevant as well.

“ I actually loved Spurrier and respected him as a coach”
It’s strange how many UGA fans say this now. When I was a kid growing up in Georgia, I don’t think I met a single Georgia fan say anything close to this. There’s so many people who are rewriting history. Worse still, they actually believe their own lie. This includes my relatives. All of a sudden “we loved Spurrier all along, but we hate Mullen.” Delusional
If you changed your mind on Spurrier after he went to SC or retired, fine. Just be honest with yourself that you hated him at Florida.

What are Florida fans supposed to do, get on their knees and talk about the time you beat Hawaii in the sugar bowl?

I loathed him at Florida. In retrospect, he modernized the SEC and is the best quote machine in coaching history not named John McKay.

was a great gameplan. He pulled one out of the Spurrier playbook where you run the same play over and over until the other team stops it.
Was it really thé "gameplan" though ? I watched thé game again and Florida certainly didnt start out with thé wheel routes.Mullen was obviusly intent on running thé ball in the 1st qtr.The "gameplan" evolved over thé course of thé game.
Not taking anything from Mullen though. He obviusly spotted something and Kirby didnt have an answer.
