Could've been beating #2 Auburn and getting to #1 in the first ever Top 4 CFP Poll. Has Ole Miss ever been there?

But they won the Good Housekeeping National Championship in 1960 man! You know Ole Miss is a football powerhouse!

Recruiting is getting better, watch those numbers go up over the next few years. He has about 5 years of elite QB talent lined up right now baws.

I do remember. We were #4 in that poll. And we beat Mississippi State that year.

Your best team ever.

With bought players. That are about to cause program crippling sanctions for at least 10 years.

Congrats! Your greatest accomplishment ever!

That's MSST ceiling. Mullen goes to UT or A&M and he'll be a handfull

This is what i was thinking. they don't get the top recruits like some of the other programs.

Without sounding like a jerk, MSST does not offer the same benefits that just come naturally at a job like Alabama, LSU or Georgia.

That's pathetic. He should stay at Miss St

Nice try dipshit. He turned down Florida because it's a dumpster fire.

And you need to understand the concept of building a program. Mullen took over a football program that was pretty much decimated by the Croom era. No coach is going to come in and consistently win against top 25 teams in that situation. What is his record in the last four years?

In other words, when Florida shits the bed next year against top 25 teams, take it easy on the coach. It takes time.

Mullen is just the new flavor of the month.

He lost to South Alabama last year, and State fans were done with him.

I think he'll leave State and leave the next staff to deal with the Leo Lewis backlash. Mullen may have a squeaky clean image, but we all know there's only one way to recruit kids to Starkville, the "Sherrill Method."

The only program dealing with "the Leo Lewis backlash" resides 80 miles northwest of Starkville, Yancy. It's gonna be a long, cold, nuclear winter for you guys.
