This is such a flawed argument. There's been a bunch of wins vs top 25 teams that end up at the end of the year not in the top 25 anymore and State beating them is a huge reason for that.

What was Jackie Sherrill against the top 25?
It isn't like Mississippi State has a history of winning big. Not sure why we are criticizing a guy for winning 6 games vs top 25 who is at a school that hasn't won an SEC Championship since before WWII ended.
