It was a travesty to put two ACC teams in the playoffs. The only reason they did is because they didn't want to deal with the backlash of putting 4 SEC teams in.

I think there are five teams that made the playoffs that would lose at least 7 of 10 to USCe, Bama or Ole Miss, and two of them got byes.
And I don't think any of them would have won more than 7 games with an SEC schedule.

Who gets in though?
Bama got trucked by 6-6 OU.
Rebs lost at home to 4-8 UK.
SCar lost to both Bama and Rebs.

My pickems have gotten wrecked over the past 24 hours.

It feels like an A&M season. I was riding high with only 1 incorrect pick and in the top50. And then bam.

The ACC might be the worst in FBS, how the frick do you lose to East Carolina and call yourself P4 Has a member of their conference won a post season game yet?

"five teams that made the playoffs that would lose at least 7 of 10 to USCe, Bama or Ole Miss"

There is no way those 3 teams could ever win 4 straight games against decent opponents (same with half the playoff field). The difference is they did not earn the right to compete for a title, its pretty simple - don't lose to a team that even fricking Navy beat

it's a weaker brand of football yes -

Syracuse and Kyle McCord are the best team in the ACC this year - he's the best player in that league not named Cam Ward - Syracuse plays some defense - UMiami plays none -

McCord told Ryan Day to frick off and transferred to Syracuse - he wouldn't have slid as time ran out in Eugene -

the two that played in Charlotte were playing for 3rd best team -

Those are all SEC losses to teams that could win the ACC.
But to answer specifically, I would have chosen Ole Miss by virtue of them dominating Georgia and SC.
But any of the three are miles better than SMU.
3-loss SEC>2-loss ACC. All day long.
