Dumb in the aspect if he gets hurt he could lose a ton of stock

Smart in the aspect Bo Scarbrough wont be uselessly taking carries from him next year

Has he graduated yet?

Damien is the kind of guy that's going to definitely graduate with good grades. His stock will go up next year, too. It's a good decision for him and Alabama.

Couldn't afford the pay cut?

Seriously what round would he have been taken?

RB is the one position, I expect folks to leave early.

Going to be the Harris and Harris show at RB next year at Bama.

Run game is going to be much better next year with a qb that can back the Lbs and safeties off the LOS.

Seems like there are a ton of RBs in this draft. With a good year, maybe he hope to stand out in the next one.

he got a ton of tread on him, didn't get nearly the carries of any other back of his talent level. He's most likely going to be considered the best rb in the country if he can have a year like this one but with more carries. It's an injury risk, but he was not going to get into the 1st round this year with Chubb, Michel, that Penn State guy, and guice all in the draft too. He was likely looking at 3rd round. Come back and have a great year behind what is going to be an incredible oline, with a real passing threat at qb, and he could have a monster year and be the first rb off the board next season. High reward potential

I'm shocked I don't believe any RB should return for senior year unless he got a bad draft grade

That's awesome. Harris/Harris/Jacobs/Robinson/Ford. Loaded backfield in 2018!

Yes he does.

Damien Harris career Bama carries:

2015: 46
2016: 146
2017: 135

Total: 327

Derrick Henry career Bama carries:

2013: 35
2014: 172
2015: 395

Total: 602

So Harris has 68 fewer carries in three years than Henry had in 2015 alone.

Quite a load. Sheesh. Any of those guys (including the last two) would start for most DI schools.
