If you take away the drives that start at the 25 and 27. Auburn only scores 7 in the first half. Can play that game all day.
WTF?
What does AU's offense have to do with a comparison of FSU's offensive performance in the two halves.
Dumbass. Post less.
did you even read the thread dumbass? He was responding to an auburn fan that said something to the tune of, If you take away the drive that started on turnover/short field FSU only scored 10 points offensively.

Meh. After watching Auburn play both, I feel like Manziel was robbed this year.

This is hilarious. All we heard before the game was how Winston called his own plays from the line and read multiple receivers etc. - unlike Marshall who just looks at one receiver and doesn't have to call plays or read defenses. Then the game begins - and now Winston gets all his plays from Fisher and then after their offense was average - Auburn was stealing their signals. I never realized how arrogant FSU has gotten. Their best attribute was their defense. Winston is a good athlete but he is way too high on himself. They will be back next year and hopefully Ellis will get another chance to steal their signals from their all world - call it at the line QB.
Jimbo has a lot of ole Bowden in him, it wasn't the fact they were not ready for a team to come out and hit them in the mouth and the other team being ready to play them, it must be the fact that they were doing something to get an advantage.
Wonder if Jimbo will comment on Pruit burning up the phones to Smart and Saban to get ideas against Auburn's offense.
I'm glad Jimbo isn't the coach at Auburn, goodluck at FSU with your low assistant budget.

I agree. I think JFF was robbed this year. At the end of the year when it was all said and done JFF had better numbers and did so in SEC play.
But as one national radio show said Tuesday, JW looked unathletic. Some of his pass incompletions in the first half were just awful. I think they were embarrassed that Nick Marshall was doing a lot better than JW in the first half.
And how is Auburn stealing signals the reason Fsu went 60 yards on their first drive for a FG? Does stealing signals cause someone to fumble?
I think this is nothing more than Jimbo having a cya moment because the SECs 4th worst defense is better than any defense FSU faced all year.

absolutely... not even close. I'd loved to have seen JFF with a more complete team around him. FSU with the human troll doll would have roasted our arse!

Why would he unless he is asked? Coaches consult all the time. Especially ones that are friends.

I don't know about the signals. I do know FSU changed its strategy with the quick passing game and more tempo, and Auburn had problems after that. But it's not like FSU was just dominating the second half offensively.

fwiw, pruitt was asked during media session if he hit up smart and saban for advice... JP said they didn't give him anything... they had that 'sec thing' going on.
no clue it that was true or not... and i'm not sure why smart would help him too much... Bama recruits as much, if not more, against FSU as it does against Auburn... especially considering both their offensive and defensive similarities (compared to that of auburn).

Eh. After seeing JFF vs. LSU and Missouri. Naw he didnt deserve the Heisman.
Cant win it with 4 losses imo. No matter how bad the defense is.
And remember.....
JFF played Auburn...at A&M. No time to prepare, no "signals" known, etc.
Now....I think JFF was the "best player", but the best player doesnt always deserve or win the Heisman. Adrian Peterson was a better player than Matt Leinart, but Leinart still had a better "Heisman year"
For Jamies....Going undefeated, 44 tds 4000 yards. Basically missed 2 or 3 games because he missed the 2nd halfs of games....yea thats Heisman stuff imo.
