If you seriously believe Jimbo Fisher used the same signals as they used during Dameyunes time at FSU.... Then I hope you check yourself into a mental institute as soon as possible.

The signals were different, but Jimbo used the same system to develop the signals as when Craig was on the staff.

And I'm not saying what he did is unethical. It happened and it is what it is.

Jimbo knows that next year when they blow through the ACC it won't look as impressive because of what Auburn's defense did to them. He needs an excuse for why they looked average.

that's probably what it is. Auburns total defense is 11th in the SEC and to have held FSU to 27 points and 385 yds just throws cold water on FSUs ACC stats of 52 points/g and 530 yds/g.

I for one refuse to believe that Gus Malzahn would be involved in anything that was unethical or underhanded.

Maybe arkansas can steal samford's signals next year, since you guys are hiring their coaches... might actually blow them out this time.

I hate Auburn more than most, but this type of thing is silly.

I think stealing the opponents signals is 100% a legit tactic. Even Jimbo Fisher thinks so.

If I figure out what the opponent's signals mean and see them doing it, I sure as hell am going to use that information to my advantage.

Jimbos got to explain why auburn was beating that arse for the first 3 quarters so stealing signals sounds good.

I'm curious if those two will speak much in the future DC really is/was loyal to Jimbo and didn't want to leave edn for more money to come to Auburn.

This is hilarious. All we heard before the game was how Winston called his own plays from the line and read multiple receivers etc. - unlike Marshall who just looks at one receiver and doesn't have to call plays or read defenses.

Then the game begins - and now Winston gets all his plays from Fisher and then after their offense was average - Auburn was stealing their signals.

I never realized how arrogant FSU has gotten. Their best attribute was their defense. Winston is a good athlete but he is way too high on himself. They will be back next year and hopefully Ellis will get another chance to steal their signals from their all world - call it at the line QB.

I agree. I dont blame Auburn for doing it.

However, a lot of Auburn fans are being very sensitive to the idea that they may have stole signals.

No one views it as cheating. And no one believes your defense is really good. It is what it is.

However, a "meh" showing against Auburn (who had their signals) all of a sudden means FSU's offense wasnt dynamic this year to some people? Not sure I agree there.

I love how some Auburn fans in here are acting like Winston is somehow overrated. The man rightfully won the Heisman and played one of the best seasons at the QB position as a RS freshman.

If you truly believe that Jimbo is this stupid, then you ought to be calling for him to be fired.

Sorry, there's just no other answer.

This would be like you darting out in front of a speeding train and then blaming the train when you got hit.

did I miss where FSU lost because of it or something? get over it already you buncha crybabies. starting to sound like bammer lite...winning isnt good enough because it was close and it was just lowly AU right get over yourselves, you just werent as good as the propaganda made you out. I'd say FSU being allowed to tear off our d-linemens jerseys every play affected the outcome as much or more than Fisher being obtuse for a half.

ESPN is also notorious for making a mountain out of a molehill.

If you don't think stuff like this happens when staff switches schools I don't know what to tell you. That's completely on Jimbo for not adjusting his system.

Fisher already came out and said that he knew that figuring out signals was part of the game and he had no problem with it at all. Nothing to see here.

This.

If anything, this is highly embarrassing for Jimbo

Huh what game did you watch. A missed tackle and a blown coverage don't a heisman make.
Dude he had 175 yards in the second half and went 6/7 for 77 yards and a TD on his last drive. That is truly HEISMAN moment
