I always stand for the flag and the anthem, but I take pride when I see the guys who kneel in protest.
They are the greatest example of freedom that we have . I don't know their motives and don't really care, but by kneeling they (inadvertently?) prove that the USA is free and that peaceful protest and dissent won't get you jailed or killed , like it would in a large portion of the world.
People who get riled by their kneeling should stop taking everything personally.

Dak - smart, talented, good looking, classy.
Colin - well... uhh... never mind.

Exactly. The FreeKap crowd seems to ignore the obvious: Kap doesn't want to play anymore. Look at him. He's gotten skinny. He doesn't work out for anybody so they could evaluate him if they wanted.
The NFL drafted Joe Mixon after he sucker punched a blonde-haired, blue-eyed coed on camera. Doubt they would do that if they were so eaten up with racism

Racism in the NFL isn't anywhere near the issue.

I agree. With kap it's more about the endorsement money that NFL teams are worried about losing, IMO. Plus, he has regressed as a QB. Is it worth all of the media noise and the possible public/sponsor backlash for a backup QB?

I wasn't talking about Colin's reasons for kneeling.
Was referring to the rally at NFL HQ. The ProKap demonstrators weren't claiming that he's not playing because of the color of his skin? You sure about that?

Flag worship is so weird

Athiest, USA is responsible for all the worlds problems, you adore the Antifa movement, you hate America and think cops killed deserve what they got etc etc. Every person I have ever known that rips our flag thinks exactly the same way without exception. Let me guess, you LOVE planned parenthood too and defend their lies.
I don't give a frick about the flag. I'm agnostic, not atheist. USA is not the cause of all world problems, although we've had a hand in many of them. I don't hate America, more just indifferent. I don't agree that dead cops got what was coming for them. I don't know anything about Antifa. I don't have a problem with Planned Parenthood.
