LJ Mercurius has tied his career-high with a strikeout of Collin Brueggemann to start the 6th. 12 Ks through 5.1 innings. His day is done with a very impressive start 5 1/3ip 3H 2BB 2HBP 12K’s 1R 1ER.

Chiming in to share that we won Game 1 of the double header today 9-0 over Wright State. Staff threw 19 Ks, totaling 32 strikeouts thrown over the first 2 games to go with 22 runs scored. Not an unreasonable pace to keep this season…

We were picked 14th in SEC. Must mean 13 teams are stacked. Only 2 games but pitching was my biggest worry, and has been lights out thru 2. Cam Johnson has MLB talent and only worry was control. In his first game he had it. Can he keep it even thru eventual losses? Will be a huge deal if he can.

Thats a great showing Arky. Whats great about this venue is traveling fans have no risk of weather delays or cancellations. Makes spending money an easier risk choice.

Good win by OU and impressive pitching, but what’s the deal with Oklahoma State? It’s early in the baseball season but it seems like they’re struggling across the board in sports they used to be good in..
