I have my money on Fulmer. Although the post on here calls the source a current SEC coach, the article dances around that gingerly.

It calls him a coach with a long-time SEC history and says he's still in the SEC. If it was a current SEC coach the article is likely going to flat out say that. There's no reason to dance around it like the article does.

Nailed it...

A coach with extensive SEC experience has no doubt Jeremy Pruitt will have success at Tennessee – and soon.

“To me, Jeremy is the best defensive mind in the SEC,” said the coach, who is still in the SEC.

Pruitt is a great defensive coach. I don't really know how you can compare him to Saban considering Saban hasn't called defensive plays in 25 years, but I love Pruitt's aggressiveness.

In other words, he'll do a bang-up job coaching up the one and two stars he manages to snag?

I have no doubt that Germy Poot is a great defensive coach. I have my doubts that he can turn that Tennessee CF around in two years, but I will watch with interest, UT has been such a crapfest for so long though, and I’m not sure they will ever return to where they were in the 90’s. Anything is possible though with luck and perseverance. Will the fans in Knoxville give their new coach the time he needs, as in 4 or 5 years? Too many fan bases want instant gratification

Is this where the board watches Phat Phil, Serraneux, and a few others incessantly hype Tennessee and post every single article including fan blogs that mention Tennessee in a favorable light? And when they are called out on it, Ricky Bobby and the Tennessee 2nd string posters run in and say it was all a troll and anyone laughing at Phat Phil, et al are rolled up?
Kind of sad how predictable it's become, isn't it?

The UGA fans should thank JP. He was instrumental in getting the "lets get serious about football" people at UGA off their azz. Football was serious to Mark Richt but football is everything to Pruitt. I hope he gets the Vols back to playing good football....just as long as they don't beat The King. UGA should name their new indoor football facility the Jeremy Pruitt Lets Get F Serious Field.

I don't buy that for a second. The writer was just covering his tracks.

Very predictable. I do still chuckle a little when they pat themselves on the back and refer to themselves as “elite boarders.”

Our offense didn’t seem to have nightmares against his defense. We didn’t cut through them like butter, but like most of Malzahn’s career, we’ve been our own worst enemy.

Oh, they are. In the hearts and minds of themselves and their fans, they're number one. And really, isn't that all you need?

Have we already reached the point of the year where Phat Phil does nothing but post links to Tennessee stories?

Phil’s post to pages ratio is the stuff of legend. All you guys talk about is how much of a dumb homer he is, yet you guys stumble over each other in a futile attempt to pwn the master.
