It doesn't matter what the DA "thinks," it matters what they can prove.
A lot of people have been imprisoned with less evidence against them.
Sometimes it helps to be a public figure.

From what I’ve read the gun was in Millers car, if the car was on campus Miller and Miles were both violating campus firearms policies by having it anywhere on campus other than in Miles car. This should be enough for the school admin to take disciplinary actions against Miller, up to expulsion from school.

He had no way of knowing what said legal owner planned to do with his legally carried gun. Maybe he thought he needed it for protection.
What a dumb arse, narrow minded comment. He didn't know if Miles needed it for protection or to murder someone and since Miller didn't care to ask and the end result ended up being the murder of an innocent mother then he should be removed from the team for his poor decision making. Schools have a code of conduct and this guy definitely didn't live up to those standards.

Do you think you'd be arrested if you brought a loaded gun to scene of a murder?
I can't say for sure but I know I definitely wouldn't risk it.
People have been executed for less.

If he wasn't an all-star, there is a high likelihood that he would no longer be a student at alabama.
I don't get bammers excusing it as he just brought someone their property. It wasn't just property. It was a gun at 1am, to the bars, when it was reasonable to expect something was going to happen.
He might not get criminally charged but that shouldn't matter to the university. His choices led to someone getting shot with the weapon he brought to the scene.
The university saying that Miller did nothing wrong is astonishing.
He willingly brought a loaded weapon to an altercation. It's that simple.

He was mixed up in a murder, delivering the murder weapon to the scene. Even if not legally culpable, players on other teams have been booted off for far less than what he did.
And he was buddies with 2 killers. Great guy to have on your college hoops team.

People have been suspended for much much less.
At the very least he should be kicked out of school.

How can we as alumni, fans, message board posters, etc. force the authorities to arrest Miller?
