Definitely. Last night's game was encouraging from the standpoint that we proved to ourselves that we can get to the rim and don't have to rely solely on the 3 point shot and force it when opponents run us off the 3 point line.
Good point about our defense needing to step up. We struggle mightily on the defensive end especially not having a rim protector on the back end. This is why losing Bediako from last year's team was such a big deal.
Bediako not returning may end up being the difference between this year's team being anywhere from a #4 to #6 seed in the NCAA tournament to being anywhere from a #7 to #10 seed instead.
