Notre Dame beats Army
Miami beats SMU for ACC
Texas beats Texas A&M
2 of Alabama, Tennessee, Georgia or Ole Miss gets beat

We need to win out and we need 11-17 to lose. We also need Indiana and Miami to lose 2 games.

Oh, and we need ND to lose to So Cal.

Yes, but there’s a better chance of me hitting a bullseye with a sniper rifle at 1000 yards.

A gun which I’ve never shot.

If it's a good rifle with a decent trigger that's got the glass dialed-in, in advance ... provided we're talking a 10" sub MOA bullseye and there's no lateral drift on a sunny day, level ground ... I could probably have you dinging steel inside 5 shots, definitely inside 10 shots.

So yeah, we've got a shot. Thanks for the metaphor.

If you can't win your conference championship game you don't deserve to be in

Not much of a shot ... but a shot. A long shot.

Stranger things have happened.

Miami would be near the bottom in the SEC.

You should try working out, lift some. Help raise your low T.

A few weeks ago Cocky won its first game against a ranked team since 2022, and now they're ready to take on the world.

How in the fricking hell does your dumb arse manage to type that bullshite with a straight face?

Tell you what. Screenshot or quote a post in this thread, or anywhere, where a Gamecock fan is screaming that we're world beaters.

If you can't do that then you're making it up as you go like your fellow dumbfricks at CNN and MSNBC.

Worse yet, you're living vicariously through .... whomever it is that you're living vicariously through. All the while you're accusing my fellow Gamecock fans and me of doing what it is that you're actually doing, Kamala. Or is your name Jean Pierre ma'am?

Now frick off.

Dude Tennessee is on the outside looking in with two losses. A lot of chaos would have to happen.

SC win out.
Texas beats TAM
Notre Dame loss
Tennessee or Georgia loss.

I think that is all that needs to happen.

I think the more SEC teams with 3 losses the better for SC. So,

OM loss to UF
UT loss to Vandy
Bama loss to OU or AU
TAMU loss to AU or TX

Those all have a better than 20% chance of happening.

Then SC also needs the obvious losses by those OOC schools ahead them.

Something a lot of people don’t realize tho, is that the Committee gives weight to Top 25 wins and also bad losses. A Top 25 win only counts week to week, so it doesn’t matter what the opponent was ranked when you beat them, it matters what they’re ranked now. A bad loss is a loss to a team that is sub .500.

Cocks need Mizzou, TAMU and Clem to stay ranked and be ranked at end of season and it would be great if Vandy could win out and work themselves back into the Top 25. That’s potentially four Top 25 wins. Worst LSU can finish is 6-6 so Cocks won’t have any bad losses.

If you could easily win another team's conference championship game do you deserve to be in over the actual winner? Vandy would easily win the ACC or Big12 conference. Florida, Auburn, Mississippi State would be in the running in either conference. South Carolina would look like Ohio State and Oregon combined as they ran roughshod through the ACC or Big12. The top teams in the SEC and Big10 are simply playing another game than the ACC and Big12 and the rest of CFB. Middle of the pack teams in either conference would look like odds on favorites to win a natty.

Yes, we have a shot. However, it won't happen.

Vandy would easily win the ACC or Big12 conference. Florida, Auburn, Mississippi State would be in the running in either conference.

Auburn lost at home to cal(winless in acc play) miss state has been housed by asu and the g5. Vandy barely beat one g5 lost to another. Florida got housed baf by Miami (Florida does look much improved since then). Those teams aren’t winning any conference.
