Honestly, I think it sucks we lose him just because of how good of a recruiter he was. But they are kidding themselves if they think he has developed good WRs here.

Everyone loves the coaches until they leave them, then they start making shite up about them. That's a sign you're getting a good coach

We used to clean up in the mobile area under Saban. Hiring Craig will hopefully open up some doors there again. Yalls WRs werent to bad the two years before this past one IMO. Plus we get a guy who has spent his career under Jimbo FIsher as a player and a coach. Maybe another set of eyes can help with our QBs and passing game.

Big time upgrade for us no matter what way you look at it.

I'll take Craig, even though he might be coaching the wrong position. I'm more excited that you took Steele and we got the DC we wanted last year. I wasn't looking forward to this last season with him as DC, this year I'll be pumped waiting on the first game!!

1 He never had the talent he will at LSU. Our WRs on paper are sick.
2 Duke, I wish he stayed at LSU, maybe being close to family is what would have helped him and Frank Wilson.
3 We didnt know who Adam Henry was, we thought Tony Ball could develop.
4 At least Craig can back up his coaching with his own highlight video. I cannot think of a better Qb coach for our guys and if he is also coaching the WRs that cant hurt to have them under the same coach.

Wat? We've have had just as good athletes at WR. That is not the argument. Duke's family said it was a decision to leave Louisiana because if he had stayed he would be in prison right now. Its def an upgrade over the no name you guys hired before. He isn't going to coach QB lol....

Auburn insider said he wasn't even allowed to coach his position like he wanted. There was no friction between Lashlee and Craig, it's all with Gus.

I'm really interested to see what he does at LSU where they actually use a route tree and he will definitely be involved in the passing game and QB development.

Coates

Definitely thought he was a top tier WR based on what I had seen. What was the final story-I guess they weren't getting the ball to him?

Coates was good at one thing. Being big and bad and being able to beat dbs for deep balls.

It's been a real bad last few months for Aubies. Especially when Cammie Cam failed them. Hey at least you won at Legion Field and beat Memphis unlike the Black Bears.

Yeah, Auburn's real insiders reside in Tuscaloosa and on Alabama message boards.

Auburn's "insider" know diddly-poo.

And JJ and Sean White are something to write home about? It was his first year starting and I'm sure Mr. D Craig will teach him a thing or two ;-) Once again...thank you
