re: Brad Wing released by Giants

He was the worst punter in the league last year and the Giants had the worst special teams last year. He was only making a million, so it wasn't a money cut.
Why does every butt hurt Tiger fan have to reference Bama?! What do they have to do with this thread?! Have a little pride and quit making them the source of all LSU Athletics problems
Just saw that. Sounds like what triggered the investigation is how well he's recruited. Forde noted that so far nothing has turned up
You must be talking about Arky's Women's Under Water Basket Weaving Team
It's pretty embarrassing when you put two tackles on one side then run to the opposite, and the rent a win team you brought in stuffs the run for a loss on the play

Cyber breach at LSU

Posted by Mr Obvious on 12/22/17 at 4:30 pm
Has anyone heard a thing about this?
My soon to be ex wife works for the insurance broker that handles all LSU's insurance, all insurance claims go through her.
Back at the end of October she was all over the place about this. This was right after the Equifax breach. She expected to get national media coverage over it but after we split, I haven't seen anything about it.
If you think about it, university's have a lot of sensitive information stored
Watched pieces of it in a bar here in Shreveport without sound and haven't seen the board or twitter blow up about it so I was wondering wtf
Sorry for the down vote. On my phone and meant to hit up vote
Few skill positions and no 5 stars yet, so he's got a very valid point
In the early part of the season I thought we'd get to see LSU play in the Indy Bowl here ??
I wonder if Les' price is too high with the amount of years and his buyout? He seems like a pretty good option at this point. Anybody else at this point is 95% certain to put the program back another 3-4 years.

Yeah, He made us drink way too much with the X's and O's but Coach O didn't have to rebuild the program. I don't think he would be 9-3 his first year at a place like Texas.

Coach Miles did have a big part with LSU having 3 first rounders in the draft last year that are really solid young men as well.

From my experience, just hitting the turf wrong could reaggrivate it, if his simple procedure is like the simple procedure I had. Generally it'll flair up at first. and with treatment you can get by if it not severe. In my case it gradually herniated for about 9 months and I finally couldn't walk 5 feet. I'm only speaking about a disc that has been previously cut on.
The link below explains Tiger's drop in production.
I'm hoping for the best but this is what I don't want to see happen to this young man. We'll see how the QB competition plays out over the summer but I think he's our best bet as a starter. Had Brennan been an EE with a spring of being Moffitized, we'd be set

Interesting read about Tiger Woods and loss of production after a discectomy
Right. That's why I'm curious what level it was. As easy my L4-5 herniated after having the discectomy, I feel for him
If you just got done with finals, I don't blame you whatsoever. If not check out twitter, 140 characters or less should keep your attention span. Some posts are just pictures and no words.
Everyone has heard it was minor. The night before his surgery someone posted about him having surgery the next day and the way he described Danny anxious to finally take his medicine ( I assume pain meds ) the OP sounded like he was close with Danny.
Etling hurt his back in a game last year. That same hit this year after a particular minor procedure could really effect his season, like what we saw in the spring game
I've had 3 spinal surgeries myself from my lower back to my kneck. The reason I ask is because depending how low or high makes all the difference in the world.
With Coach O saying he should be throwing in 4 - 6 weeks, it sounds like a disectomy. They basically just cut the part of the disc that's herniated leaving the rest in place. It's a quick fix but far from permanent for someone like a football player.
I had a discectomy on my L4-L5 when is was 33. Full medical release in 6 weeks. At 44, I'm a semi retired commercial plumber and welder. After the discectomy the surgeon told me to find another line of work or I'd wind up having a fusion on that same disc. Well, he was right. 6 months after returning to work it herniated again. Shaving the disc to get it off the sciatic nerve, destroys the structural integrity of the disc and it doesn't provide cushion any longer. Before it herniated a 2nd time, my back muscles were so tight I could barely stand up straight after kneeling or crouching.
If that is the scenario that Etling is dealing with, he could be in for a long nagging injury.
Having some of the best trainers and facilities in the country at LSU, is a big advantage. But when mine herniated the 2nd time, it was 3x as bad as the first. I won't even jog after having the fusion on the lower back. 8 years after it, I hurt everyday.
I couldn't imagine Peyton Manning playing after having a cervical fusion until I had one at the end of last year. It was easier than having my tonsils out. The lumbar fusion hurt so bad for so long, I was scared shiteless to go through that with my neck. Oh how I miss that little button of sunshine that you could hit every 6 minutes while in the hospital.
With his timetable for throwing, I'd imagine it's going to be something simple like a discectomy, I was still in a neck brace at 6 weeks after the cervical fusion, and back brace for 3 - 6 months ( I forget ) after the lumbar fusion
For something like that, I agree with his decision to wait until after spring practice. Shows how determined he is. Basically all he has to do healing wise to strengthen those back muscles while rehabbing, so they'll learn to compensate for what the disc is no longer doing.
I use fan speak premium to mock. I generally go with Matt Miller's rankings. He's usually pretty spot on but everyone has misses.
That being said, at least 2 of the 3 are always at 11.
I think Barnett is a better fit for us than Thomas if we stay a 4-3. I don't watch the PAC 12, so I'm not to familiar with him outside what I read about him. Seems like he'd do better in a 3-4 with his weight.
Foster's combine incident is the kind of stuff CSP has a hard time with in the locker room.
That's a flaw in his approach that's been hurting our team for a while. He needs to be able to manage personalities better.
Randy Moss thrived in NE. BB is good in that regard.

re: Terron Armstead roster bonus

That dude's a hack, the only local guy outside the Advocate and Times, I'd even listen to is John Hendrix. He's got legit info. He broke one of our signings a few days ago 1st.

I saw Armstead earlier this year on a list of possible restructures for cap room. It's as guaranteed every year as Mardi Gras
I saw that and he's been reliable in the past. Butler sure has been quiet for a RFA. As high as PFF ranks him, you think someone would be offering him Josh Norman money by now. Granted you'd have to give NE a 1st but I haven't heard anything about him outside the trade rumors. That alone makes me tend to believe it.
Cooks had to come off our books because that bonus would've been dead money had we traded him later.
Not sure if I'm happier having him in Atlanta or if he would had stayed at Bama. Win either way.
Thank freaking sweet baby Jesus! Kiffin is still a major liability to a program. He needs to take his Ritalin consistently. I would had been very surprised if LSU would actually let his train wreck come to town
