Absolutely not. Who is the one good team that Ole Miss beat?

LSU fans seem to be going after Ole Miss quite a bit today. I sense the wheels are coming off the bus over there.

I'm in no way attacking Ole Miss. Solid team. I'm just not sure how we can start a conversation about how they would beat a team playing for the BCS Championship.

Yes. Wish we had a SEC team playing ND who could though.

I'm not saying we could (nor did I say as much), but two of their best games of the year were Pitt and Oklahoma. I don't think it's the most ridiculous stretch in the world to say it's a possibility.

Would love to play them to see.

We were literally 1 inch from beating a&m and vandy. That means we were 2 inches from being a 9 win team going into bowl game. We win those two and all of a sudden it wouldn't be crazy to talk about it.

I know we didn't make the play, but we are not that far off. We just need some players man.

They'd struggle to move the ball on Notre Dame's defense.

Notre Dame - 31
Ole Miss - 7

Ole Miss has a decent defense. They can't compete with a good spread team. They don't have the personnel to do that. They could, however, competely shut down ND's horrific offense.

Texas...who's offense is completely horseshite dropped 66 on Ole Miss defense.

Just go ahead and forget them beating the PAC 10 champion and Rose bowl champ Stanford who may be 1 of the 5 best teams in college football.

bullshite. I think Ole Miss is better offensively right now than Oklahoma and any other team ND has played. I think Ole Miss would beat them.

Ole Miss has improved so much that it's nonsensical to even mention their Texas game. Ole Miss would curb stomp Texas right now.

I guess you missed the bad call in OT where the Stanford player "Taylor" scored.

That wouldn't have won the game for Stanford not to mention it's a questionable call at best. His progress looked like it may have been stopped.

On a neutral field, certainly possible, given that their offense is so anemic.

For those who cite Texas, keep in mind that Texas hit big play after big play and we were without our starting free safety for the game, which was where they inflicted most of their damage via the long pass.

66-31. You should watch the regular season some.

Yeah, but as the year went on, Texas got shittier and Ole Miss got MUCH better, so based on here and now, I would think so...

Texas A&M didn't start the year out on fire either, but we all know how that went too, so.............
