Ole Miss had a better defense performance against Pitt than Notre Dame.

Could they? Yep.

But ND is the better team and Ole Miss' D is flaky.

Would we beat ND? Prolly not. Could we? Absolutely.

We just obliterated the Pitt team that took ND to triple overtime. And we played three good teams to a close finish that "could" have gone either way: LSU, aTm, and Vandy (and yes, Vandy has earned the right to be called good this year).

That said, we didn't actually beat any real good teams this year, and are not yet deep enough to say that we would or should beat a team like ND. Give us a year or two.
